There are configuration details specific for the router, proxy, and devices that make it all work together. In short your devices point to that Blocker/DNS server for DNS, and Internet traffic is routed through a Proxy to process the Ad/Tracker/Malware blocking - that is where the ad/tracker/malware blocking happens for all of your devices that you point to it, including your router.Īny device that points to the router via DHCP for DNS that you cannot change, the router is set to resolve DNS via that Blocker/DNS server for DNS resolution.
